This Ain't Our First Rodeo!

So..as you all know by now, March is a very busy month for the Waggoner's.  We love love love spending time down at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.  MG was very little last year and didn't really get to enjoy the festivities, but boy...this year was a different story!  I think it was the first time since our baby girl has been mobile that she actually sat still in my lap...FOR THREE HOURS!!! She was glued to the action and loved seeing all the animals. We had been reading about animals at home this whole month and were shocked to see just how many she remembered from our books.  She loved all the sheep and belted "BAAAA!!!" at them whenever they came around.  She is truly a little sponge and is soaking up all that is around her! Hope you all enjoy our rodeo pics!

Hello Mr. Goat!

MG and I in the pouring rain at the carnival! We are such troopers!
What a great Rodeo season!  We saw Alabama, Reba, the Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson! Mary Grayson had a great time!  We aren't quite sure what next year will bring with TWO kiddos, but I'm sure it will be another adventure!
I am 14 weeks along in this pregnancy! I've been sick most of the time and had lost 5 pounds since my first doctors appointment!  I hoping my appetite comes back soon and the sickness goes away quickly!  Thank you all for your loving prayers and support! We feel so blessed!

THREE and a Half Waggoners!

It seems like I begin every post apologizing for not posting!! And every time I have the same excuse that life just got in the way.  My excuse this time around isn't that life got in the way, but that I have just been too tired to post!  But....on to bigger news!
MG is going to be a BIG SISTER!

We are so excited to announce to the blogging world we are expecting another Waggoner in September! We went to take these few pictures of Mary Grayson in her new shirt and she pulled out the biggest, chessiest smiles! She doesn't have a clue about the baby, but she loves to "mother" her baby dolls and bring them to me to give them their bottles!  She is one spunky little girl! I am 10 weeks along at this point and this pregnancy already is SOOOO different from before.  I was never sick with MG, nauseous, but never actually sick!  Well...I couldn't be sicker!  Nothing seems to agree with my stomach lately!  I'm hoping all this passes in the next two weeks when I begin the 2nd trimester.  Because we switched insurances I have seen a new doctor.  Both Marvin and I really like her!  The ultrasound showed only ONE baby!  Wheeewwww!! Thanks goodness! Everything looked great.  It is so amazing to see that little heart beating.  We couldn't be happier to be able to expand our family! We appreciate all your prayers and support!  This summer is going to be a long, hot one....at least for me and baby W!

Aside from our big news we have had a lot going on these past two months.  Here are a few pics from our January and February!

Go TEXANS!!!
What a whirlwind start to 2012!  We are really looking forward to a great year. Mary Grayson continues to amaze us each and every day.  She is learning so much.  She especially likes to read books OUT LOUD to us, take baths, and eat!  I am so blessed to have such a good eater!  She eats anything!!!
I started teaching tennis again this week at Kingwood Country Club.  The Lord opened yet another door for me and I am happy to be back out on the court again.  I am continuing to work part-time at the hospital and hoping to start phasing that out as my tennis teaching begins to pick up!  Marvin still loves policing! Mary Grayson and I say a special prayer of protection over Daddy every night!! Marvin and I have made several resolutions/goals for this year (my vow to blog better was one of those!) and we can't wait to see what this new year brings!!!

MG Meets Santa

So...it's that time of year again where parents torture their children to sit with a funny-looking old man with a beard!  And yes...we did it again.  Last year MG was very uninterested to say the least.  I'm not even sure she opened her eyes, being she was only 3 weeks old!  This year, however, was a very different story!  She wanted NOTHING to do with that old man!  She mainly stood at a distance and watched his every move.  We did attempt to sit her in his lap and she squeeled, like only MG does, and proceeded to make her best, "Why are you doing this to me?" face!! Here are a few shots to commemorate the Holiday! We can only hope next year we will do better!!
MG's First Santa Pic EVER!

"I'm ok...as long as I'm just watching him."

"NO!....Please don't do this to me!"

"Who IS this man?? And why is he holding me?"

Happy Holidays from our family to yours!
Love,
Marvin, Sarah & Mary Grayson

Mary Grayson Turns ONE!

Yes...I'm a little late on this post too! But better late than never, right?  I'm amazed at just how fast a year flies by.  Just one year ago we were a family of two...and then came MG!  We couldn't be more blessed by her presence.  She lights us up! I like to think she is the best part of me and the best part of Marvin combined!  We have celebrated her birthday ALL month long.  She had 3, yes 3, smash cakes, one PINK party, and lots of loving family to celebrate with her!
We were in Jackson for Caroline's last volleyball game, so Aunt Anna made MG a cake!

Thanksgiving 2011

I know it's been awhile since I've blogged! To be honest...life has just gotten in the way.  The month of November proved to be a busy busy month for us and I just didn't have a free second to sit at the computer!  So...let me catch you up!
Every other year Marvin's extended family gets together to celebrate the holidays.  Two years ago we all went to Dallas to Marvin's uncle's home!  We had such a great time! So this year...Marvin's sweet Aunt and Uncle in Dallas decided to host us all AGAIN!! It was an easy trip for us...especially with a baby! Mary Grayson had a great 1st Thanksgiving visiting with all of her cousins!
